This is a project I did for fun to see if I could take scalable vector graphics (SVGs) and turn them into a brain with labeled parts. If you roll over (or click on mobile devices) the parts, a label will appear and the part will change color. It was a bit of a challenge to get the labels to show up in the correct places, but with the help of a great tool called the qtip, a jQuery plugin, I was able to get them working. I did the initial drawing of the brain with pencil and paper for a neuroscience class that I took. Also see THE LATERAL VIEW BRAIN.
