EasyDITA is a CCMS (Component Content Management System)
DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) is an XML (eXtensible Markup Language) data model that is used for markup of information which allows the information to be reused, shared, and translated more easily. EasyDITA is a CCMS that allows WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing of the DITA information while providing easy access to all related files and components of the information base. CCMS systems like EasyDITA are important for managing the hundreds (if not thousands) of files and components that make up the information pool, without which the resources would become unmanagable.
